Meet The Team
Diann Dowell
Founder & Shamanic Facilitator
In 1995, I embarked on a new chapter of my life by moving to Tenbury, where I immersed myself in various roles including administration, accounting, supervisory positions, and personal assistant duties.
Voluntary roles in my community I experienced as a town councillor (twice) and Chair Chamber of Trade. Currently, I chair the Tenbury Blooms and Tenbury Mistletoe Association and am Vice Chair of the Tenbury Area Partnership. Through these experiences, I gained strength, confidence, and insight into the evolving needs of the community
In 2002 I established a homemade takeaway business that not only served delicious food but also played a pivotal role in bringing the community into the 21st century, as my clients often remarked.
Over the course of 15 years, my business thrived, providing employment opportunities to over 100 young adults and becoming a beloved staple in the community. .
However, the demanding nature of the business began to take a toll on my health, prompting a shift towards my passion for health and well-being after experiencing the joys and challenges of motherhood with five pregnancies and raising two children, I decided to channel my passion into creating a therapeutic center and social hub. This new venture allowed me to continue supporting my community, this time by fostering a space for healing, connection, and well-being, all while balancing the responsibilities of being a working mom.
Despite facing challenges brought on by the pandemic, I persevered and found solace in contributing to fundraising efforts and embarking on a transformative pilgrimage to Stonehenge. This journey, coupled with the opportunity to enhance the garden surrounding my business, symbolized a reimagining of growth and resilience in the face of adversity. As the outside of S.E.N.S.E now mirrored the inside, I remained committed to nurturing both the physical and economic well-being of my business and community.
Delving deep into the complexities of life's circumstances has always been a profound journey for me, one that has led me down the path of seeking ways to alleviate the suffering. My quest for understanding and healing resonated with the ancient practices of shamanism, a path that felt like a calling, aligning with my innate curiosity and penchant for exploration. Over the past three decades, this journey has not only deepened my philosophical outlook but has also endowed me with clarity and wisdom. My relentless pursuit of knowledge led me to become a qualified shamanic facilitator and crystal womb therapist, embracing methods that may seem unconventional but are deeply rooted in the oldest healing traditions. These traditions, I believe, form the foundation of all modern therapies, evolving over time to adapt to the needs of today's society. In my practice, I prioritize creating a safe and nurturing space, moving at a pace that respects the comfort and readiness of my clients.
For those who feel a pull towards this ancient healing art, yet are unsure of where to begin, I extend an invitation for a free 30-minute consultation. This is an opportunity to explore whether the healing modalities I offer resonate with what you're seeking. It's about helping you take responsibility for your healing journey, and should you choose to, I will be there to meet you on this transformative path.
