Our Project
Our sister company, S.E.N.S.E Tenbury Community Interest Company, started the sensory garden project in September 2020. Coming out of a time which affected many, giving something to ease the heightened emotions experienced we wanted to create a tranquil and immersive outdoor space, which is easily accessible to all. ( Including mobility scooters). The community garden is designed to engage and stimulate the senses, providing a rejuvenating experience for locals and tourists to enhance their overall well-being. We have incorporated a variety of visually appealing elements. It features a diverse range of colorful flowers in the summer, lush greenery, and aesthetically pleasing landscaping. The layout was thoughtfully designed to create a harmonious and peaceful ambiance, encouraging relaxation and tranquility.
Sensory Garden
To engage the sense of touch, we have included various textured surfaces throughout the garden. This include paths made of smooth stones, wooden benches with different tactile finishes, and interactive features such as water fountains or wind chimes that clients can touch and feel.
The Final Look Of Our Sensory Garden
By implementing this sensory garden project, on the high street, right next to a SSSI It will provide a serene sanctuary where many can reconnect, engage their senses, and find respite from the stresses of everyday life.
